"We’re still gushing over last weekend and are not off the clouds just yet. We intend to send a proper thank you but can I just say Tom and I were blown away by you and
Laura, we thought you were incredibly respectful, didn’t make us feel at all
awkward, and were always around (I think Laura even helped with the button holes!).
The few photos we got to see the other day actually brought tears to my eyes, you’ve
captured tradition in a totally organic way and in the few photos we saw we were
amazed at your ability to capture people and all the emotion exactly as it was in
the moment - exactly as we’d hoped for. A huge huge huge thank you."
Where do I even start? This three-day wedding at The Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk was incredible. I hadn’t shot at the Wilderness Reserve before and fell in love. Quintessentially British this venue was made for wedding weekends with so many different areas for dinners and gatherings. I often get asked why I love destination weddings, and it is because they typically include more than just a wedding day. There are usually day before and day after activities – bbq’s, hangover yoga, hikes, boat trips- the list is endless. This venue has a swimming pool, tennis courts, bikes and even a sweet shop! Tom, the groom made a prosecco delivery to eat guest house each morning in a Morris minor so the guests could start the day off right. Their dog, Maui made several guest appearances – who doesn’t love dogs at weddings! They had the ‘British’ wedding one day, the Indian wedding the next followed by a game of cricket. Here is a tiny snippet of the best weekend.
